I am currently deploying my apps to a Nokia E61i. It’s a great Smartphone from my perspective. It has a reasonably big screen, a small keyboard, WiFi and a Camera. That is probably the feature set I use most. Oh, and Bluetooth which I use to deploy jads/jars and .py scripts using Nokia PC Suite.
The battery is large and lasts me a long time – days – which considering the amount of surfing I do, is quite amazing.
Smartphones are now capable of being clients to advanced internet services – I am currently looking at addressing live MJPEG streams and PTZ (Pan Tilt and Zoom) camera control.
ADDENDUM: though nearly all my pictures in this blog are taken with this phone, you will find that the absence of a flash results in poor pictures in dim areas. Maybe the worst aspect for image capture is the lack of optical zoom – my experience is that using digital zoom with this phone results in unusable images. It’s a business phone yes, but it is a shortcoming.

Yeah, you neglect your family and play with it for night & day, and still battery doesn’t go flat. How annoying…
